" I first met Ash in November 1993 when I purchased a Peugeot 406 Hdi 110 Estate from him. Four years and 261,189 miles later I was impressed enough with Ash to go back to him and ask him to find me a specific car. A mid range Kia Sorento XS 4x4 SUV in Black. With a maximum £10,500 budget. I do 48,000 miles a year on business so I don't buy expensive cars.

Within three weeks I got a call from Ash to say he had found me a three year old Sorento XS with only 33,000 miles on the clock. I brought it. Not only had he found me the car I wanted so quickly but he had actually found a Sorento XS that had been optioned up to the top XT spec. And he took the old Peugeot in part exchange.

After two weeks it became evident that there was a problem with the clutch not releasing properly, making changing gear difficult. After mentioning this to his wife Hansa and son Preniel the car was taken in and had a new clutch fitted under warranty. Many garages make warranty claims very difficult and very stressful. Not Ash Autos. It was all handled so painlessly and efficiently and a courtesy was provided free of charge.
Now the car is perfect.

It's very rare you will use the words "honest" and "second hand car dealer" in the same sentence. Ash Autos are just that. They are a delight to deal with, they really do know the meaning of good customer service and, I've found, that you become not a just customer but a friend. They really do set the example to all other garages.

I've done 11,000 miles in my Sorento in only two months and I love it. Thank you Ash for all your energy and work in finding me exactly the car I wanted.

Now I will only buy cars from Ash Autos and can't recommend them highly enough. My wife and I will never buy another car from anybody else but them. "

" In today's society where the emphasis seems to be on sell, sell, sell with no consideration of customer requirements it was wonderful to go to Ash's and really have someone listen to what I wanted. It must be the only garage that I have been to where they didn't try and get me to
increase my spending limit "just a little bit as this car is perfect for you" or encourage me to take finance to buy the car. The man who I spoke to was really knowledgeable and friendly and (unusually in my experience) didn't treat me like I was stupid just because I'm a woman.
He knew about every car on the books in great detail and could answer every question I asked. Ash took my car as part exchange at a very generous rate and what a refreshing experience to buy a car and not have any hassle afterwards with repairs or faults! "
